Q: Where does the money go from this auction?

A: 100% of the proceeds from this fundraising event go to support the programs for Families & Children residing in CUMFI’s Supported Living Homes.

Q: What are the bid increments?

A: Bid increments must be placed in increments of $5 or $10 or more. Each item will be labeled appropriately. For example, if the bid increment is $10, then at $250, you can bid $260 or $270. As long as you are bidding in increments of $10. Same for the $5 increments – $250, $255, $260.

Q: Can I put a max bid so that I don’t have to keep coming back to bid?

A: Yes! Our site uses proxy bidding. Simply enter your max bid and it will automatically bid for you up to your max dollar amount. If someone outbids you, you will receive an email to notify you and you may bid on it again.

Q: What is the reserve price?

A: It is the minimum amount that the seller will accept as the winning bid. If the reserve bid is not met, the artist is not obligated to sell their piece.

Q: Why do I need to register to bid?

A: We will need a way to contact you if you are the winning bidder or if you have been outbid, you will receive an email that gives you a chance to place a new bid.

Q: When does the auction end?

A: The Auction closes on Sept. 11th at 8:00 pm, CST during our live virtual auction on our Facebook page.
